Print Tablati orders on a receipt printer
Tablati is an online ordering solution for hospitality. It connects to Expedy PRINT through HubRise: Tablati sends its orders to HubRise, HubRise forwards them to your cloud printer, and the ticket comes out within seconds.
What you need
- An Expedy account with an active printer. Not added yet? Follow the guide for your machine, Expedy XPDY80, HSPOS, Star Micronics or Raspberry Pi
- A HubRise account, which aggregates your sales channels
- A Tablati account linked to your HubRise location
How it works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1 | An order is placed on Tablati |
| 2 | Tablati pushes it to HubRise |
| 3 | Expedy PRINT receives it and prints a standardised ticket |
A single printer covers every channel connected to the same HubRise location, so you do not need one machine per platform.
Connect it
The setup happens once, on the HubRise side, and is described step by step in the reference guide:
Connect a receipt printer to HubRise
Then link your Tablati account to the same HubRise location. That part is done from the Tablati back office, or by Tablati support.
Receipt settings
Once connected, the printer page in the Expedy console controls what gets printed:
- Print order when, the status that triggers printing,
NEW,RECEIVEDorACCEPTED - Then change status to, the automatic status update applied after printing
- Number of copies, one ticket for the kitchen, one for the counter or the delivery bag
- The receipt header and footer, logo, company name, address and registration number
All of it is detailed in Connect a receipt printer to HubRise.
Depending on the connector or the point-of-sale software you use, this setup may be handled by your partner. Check with them before you start.
